Because of the shorter lifespan of our pets, we stress the importance of annual and semi-annual physical examinations. Thorough examinations, routine blood screening, and preventative care can help alleviate serious health problems. We offer a wide range of veterinary services to keep your pets feeling their best:
Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services: Our hospital is equipped to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to care for your pet's health care needs.
Surgical Services: Spays, Neuters, Growth removals, Biopsies, Abscesses, Etc.
Anesthesia: Tanner Lakes Animal Clinic utilizes safe injectable and inhalant anesthetics for your pet.
Radiology Services: On-site X-rays are available. Board Certified Radiologists review our X-rays for an expert second opinion. Results are usually finalized within 24-48 hours in most cases.
Electrocardiography Services: ECG services analyze the electrical aspect of the heart.
Dentistry: Our dental services include dental cleaning, polishing, fluoride treatment, extractions and oral surgery.
Laboratory: Our in-house laboratory facilities provide for serum chemistry, urinalysis, cytology, and parasite testing. We also utilize a commercial veterinary laboratory for routine and specialized diagnostics and consultations. Specimens are sent daily to the laboratory and results are usually obtained within 24 hours.
Permanent identification: We offer microchip identification. If your pet will travel overseas, inform the staff of Tanner Lakes Animal Clinic. Dr. Ken has sent hundreds of pets overseas with the proper paperwork, titers, and treatments to avoid quarantine. He is a USDA accredited veterinarian.
Pharmacy: We maintain an inventory of pharmaceuticals, shampoos, flea and tick control products and heartworm preventatives to meet the needs of your pet. We also carry prescription diets for numerous medical conditions.

Dietary Counseling: We will provide guidance regarding your pet's nutritional needs for each life stage, including dietary requirements for growth, weight maintenance and performance.
Behavioral Counseling: We can provide advice regarding the correction of problems such as excessive barking, chewing, spraying, scratching, digging, house soiling and aggression. Check out our online library for additional information!
Bathing: Therapeutic bathing services are available.
